Lavishly Bath Co was born from a personal need—a search for bath products that were both truly gentle and genuinely cleansing. As someone with sensitive skin and a new mother to a beautiful baby girl, I needed formulas I could trust for myself and for her. When I couldn’t find what I was looking for, I set out to create it.
Today, every product is handcrafted by me (Brooklyne) in my small Northern Colorado studio, specially made for Lavishly Bath Co. I use skin-loving ingredients, luxurious scents, and the most gentle surfactants—often those found in baby products—to deliver a cleansing experience that’s effective but never harsh.
Our mission is simple: to make luxury bath care accessible to everyone. Whether you have sensitive skin or simply love a nourishing bath routine, Lavishly Bath Co offers indulgence you can feel good about.
Every ingredient used in our products are listed in the descriptions so you can know exactly what you are putting on your skin! Not sure what they are? That’s okay! Below you can find some ingredients you may not recognize on the ingredient lists and a simple breakdown of what they are!
Welcome to your new favorite bath ritual!
Ingredient breakdowns
Arrowroot powder: acts as a binding starch. It's known for its wondrous ability to give skin a vital glow. Most companies use corn starch but arrowroot is more luxurious.
Citric acid: mild acid that helps create the fizzing effect when combined with baking soda. Citric acid is a colorless weak organic acid. It occurs naturally in citrus fruits.
Cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB): is a mixture of closely related organic compounds derived from coconut oil. This mild surfactant is commonly used as a secondary foaming agent in liquid soaps.
Glycerin: Is used as a humectant meaning it helps attract moisture to the skin and keeps it hydrated.
Liquid Germall plus: highly effective, broad spectrum preservative for emulsions and aqueous formulations.
Sodium bicarbonate: baking soda
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate Powder: a surfactant that is non-drying, creates luxurious foam and leaves a silky feeling on the skin. It is a very gentle surfactant that is also known as BabyFoam.
Stearic Acid: used as a thickener and stabilizer. It acts as an emollient helping to soften and soothe the skin, and it can also help protect the skin's moisture barrier. It's commonly found in skincare products like cleansers and moisturizers.
